Senior Data Engineer (Databricks)

We are looking for a Data Engineer with a strong data quality mindset and hands-on experience with Databricks to build and maintain automated data quality checks.

Core Requirements

• Strong data quality mindset – ability to analyze data deeply and understand how everything connects

• Hands-on experience with Databricks and SQL Server testing environments

• Experience with data validation tools like Collibra or Great Expectations

• Strong Python and SQL skills to build automated data quality checks

• Good knowledge of data profiling and anomaly detection to identify issues in datasets

• Ability to read other people’s code and trace data issues back to the source in pipelines

• Experience with test automation, documentation, and tracking data quality metrics

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud data platforms like AWS or Azure

• Knowledge of machine learning models for anomaly detection
